 Denny Yoder - President
Denny was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he spent his summers working for his father on a variety of construction crews. After high school he earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
Denny then became president of Delagrange Homes, a 40-year-old, family owned home building company. At its peak, Delagrange Homes had annual sales of about $30 million, one of the largest homebuilding companies in northeast Indiana. He built over 1000 homes over a 17 year period.
In 2005, Yoder sold Delagrange, moving to Sarasota with his family to start Yoder Homes & Remodeling. He saw that many condos on Lido and Longboat Key markets were 20 to 30 years old, and nothing had ever been done to upgrade them. He began by redoing kitchens and bathrooms, taking small jobs that usually grew in scope as owners came to appreciate the quality of his workmanship. One of his larger remodeling jobs was the 5,000 square foot, Sarasota Ritz-Carlton Penthouse.
In a relatively short period of time, Yoder Homes & Remodeling has developed a loyal customer base. With the majority of our business coming from satisfied customers' word of mouth referrals, Yoder Homes & Remodeling has enjoyed steady growth from approximately $250,000 in sales in 2005 to a current level of over $2 million.
